LITTLE MILLIE was second to a progressive mare at Hereford earlier this week and must have come out of that race in rude health to be lining up just four days later. First-time blinkers and a drop in trip are expected to suit Neil King's charge, and she can end her long winless run. Transpennine Star shaped well for the Jonjo O'Neill team last time and should enjoy this test of stamina, while course winner Dovils Date is on a decent mark and could also go well.

ZAMPARELLI returned to form when scoring at Market Rasen 16 days ago and a 4lb rise doesn't look too harsh for those exertions. Suited by decent ground, this seven-year-old isn't straightforward at the finish but seems to be thriving at present and this looks a winnable opening. Mahlermade needs a truly-run race to be seen to best effect, while the booking of Richard Johnson on The Boss's Dream is well worth noting.

Harry Fry has enjoyed an excellent season with his bumper runners and it is well worth noting that Paul Nicholls' former assistant is 3-8 in this sphere at Uttoxeter in the last five years.
