DR SANDERSON looked a useful prospect when a six-length winner at Worcester in October and, having finished fourth in what has turned out to be a hot Hereford heat in November, he made a welcome return to the winner's enclosure last time with a game victory at Ffos Las. The step up in trip here should suit and he looks to have enough class to successfully concede 6lb to course and distance winner Rapper. Smackwater Jack is another to have scored over track and trip this term and is noted.
Prediction : 1st Dr Sanderson 2nd Rapper 3rd Smackwater Jack

Kim Bailey's CRESSWELL LEGEND has yet to match his exploits over hurdles since switched to the larger obstacles, but showed enough ability earlier in the season over fences to suggest he could have a part to play here if a wind operation has had the desired effect. Fox Appeal is a course and distance winner and the veteran has made the podium twice off this rating this term, while Henllan Harri often performs better at this time of year and could leave his most recent Sandown disappointment behind.
Prediction : 1st Cresswell Legend 2nd Fox Appeal 3rd Henllan Harri

SNAPDRAGON FIRE ran out an impressive 10-length winner of a novice contest over course and distance last time and Tom Lacey's six-year-old could be hard to beat back in handicap company off a workable mark. Tim Rocco looks to land a hat-trick following a couple of impressive victories at Doncaster and Newcastle, while Militarian is interesting reverting to timber off a mark 8lb lower than the rating he competed off in the novice handicap at the Cheltenham Festival.
Prediction : 1st Snapdragon Fire 2nd Militarian 3rd Tim Rocco

TIMOTEO followed up his 2m1f victory at Stratford when going in over 2m at Kempton last time and although a recent 10lb rise makes life tougher for Alan King's charge, he's thriving at present and could feasibly complete a hat-trick. Valseur Du Granval rattled the crossbar over C&D last time and has place claims off this 3lb higher perch, while the consistent Railroad Junkie is unlikely to be far away at the finish either.
Prediction : 1st Timoteo 2nd Valseur Du Granval 3rd Railroad Junkie

16:25 Ludlow

MIDNIGHT TARGET is rated only 1lb higher than her last winning (chase) mark and could appreciate the drop back in trip, having been stretched over 3m the last twice. Silk Run's winning sequence was halted over 3m2f at Warwick in September but she is worth a market check now returning from a break, while Burn Baby Byrne usually runs an honest race over track and trip and cannot be left out of calculations either.
Prediction : 1st Midnight Target 2nd Silk Run 3rd Burn Baby Byrne

KARINGA DANCER was a talented performer under Rules for Harry Fry a few years ago and he has been successful between the flags at Cottenham this season. Delegate disappointed in a point-to-point contest when last seen but he can be given a strong chance based on the pick of his form, while Sam Cavallaro edges out Hidden Charmer to be the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Karinga Dancer 2nd Delegate 3rd Sam Cavallaro

Dieu Benisse has displayed promise in both starts over hurdles thus far but the fact she has fallen on each occasion has to be a big concern. With that in mind, preference is DARLING DU LARGE, who arrives here on the back of a narrow defeat at Newcastle, form which looks strong. Others to note are Absolute Jaffa, Jaunty Soria and Rose To Fame.
Prediction : 1st Darling Du Large 2nd Dieu Benisse 3rd Absolute Jaffa
