Field Gun has been plying his trade over seven furlongs of late and is respected at this trip arriving on the back of a win, while Tan is only 3lb higher than his course and distance victory in December and could be an each-way player. Tavener, Red Alert and Zac Brown are others who deserve a second look.

SINGING THE BLUES has been progressing nicely of late and Rod Millman's four-year-old has to be seen as the one to beat looking to extend his three-race winning run on his first try at two miles. Fitzwilly is a solid yardstick who has dropped down to his last winning mark, while Tin Fandango and Looking For Carl are others who have been running well at this sort of distance and need to be considered.
