Cool Artist is also noted for a trainer with a decent record here.

CASIMIR DU CLOS looked like one to follow up north when winning over course and distance on his chasing debut 15 days ago, and natural improvement would make the seven-year-old hard to stop. He jumped and travelled well on that day and has more scope than Choochoobugaloo, who can be forgiven a modest Uttoxeter effort last time, and Jokers And Rogues, who often saves his best efforts for this track.

Alrightjack got off the mark over hurdles at Lingfield two starts ago and he was not disgraced under a penalty last time out. That said, he can be taken on with DEAD RIGHT, who returned from a lengthy break to win at Warwick last May and this former talented bumper performer should take plenty of beating on his reappearance today. Enfin Phil ran well over C&D a couple of weeks ago and is the clear pick of the remainder.

CHASMA won well at Newcastle eight days ago and if she reproduces that form today then even a 7lb penalty may not be enough to stop her form taking this contest as well. Inch Lala won a similar event here back in December and she merits consideration despite three moderate efforts since. Tigeralley's last couple of performances have been very encouraging and she could give the selection the most to think about.

Houndscourt is rated only 3lb higher than when striking at Market Rasen in January and has claims, while Scorpo makes some each-way appeal on his track-and-trip third off this mark in February.

Lammturner bolted up from the front over C&D last time out and should give it her best shot on the front end off this 6lb higher mark, though preference is for CHANCEANOTHERFIVE, who appears to be coming back to the boil and makes plenty of appeal on his 3m Musselburgh second off this mark last time out, when he was outpaced on the run-in. Grade dropper Midnight Bliss sports first-time cheekpieces and is no forlorn hope.
