Seddon is another who brings solid form to the table and he is the pick of the remainder.

RHYTHM IS A DANCER returned to winning ways at Ludlow when last seen in February and that form was boosted when the second won his next start. That suggests that even an 8lb rise in the ratings may not be enough to stop this son of Norse Dancer from taking this contest as well. Myplaceatmidnight is another who has already had a good season and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Sam's Adventure and Before Midnight.

GOLD PRESENT was disappointing when last seen behind stable companion Valtor at Ascot in December. That said, the ground was softer than ideal and his run previously at the same venue behind Politologue suggests he is more than capable of winning off his current mark. Similar comments apply to his trainer's other runner, River Wylde, who ran no sort of race at Cheltenham but can leave that effort behind him on this sounder surface. Others to consider include Born Survivor, who goes well fresh, and Dimple, who can give a bold sight for a long way.

BOAGRIUS defied a 5lb rise to claim a second successive victory at Leicester last time and looks ideally suited by 2m on decent ground. He hasn't gone up much for those exertions and might prove too strong for class-dropper Ravenhill Road. The latter has had a wind operation since last seen and could return to form, while Peppay Le Pugh has proved a model of consistency for Dan Skelton this year and also enters calculations.

FINAL REMINDER might be able to complete the four-timer on her return from a 301-day break. The third leg of her hat-trick was an impressive display at Aintree, seeing off a three-time subsequent chase winner in Drinks Interval, and a 4lb rise for that effort looks fairly lenient. Also arriving fresh is Vivant, who progressed rapidly during the summer/autumn of last year and makes plenty of appeal with Richard Johnson aboard, while Midnight Glory, Angel of Harlem and Derriana Spirit are others to note.
