Brockey Rise has been in decent form on the all-weather, winning a Wolverhampton selling handicap last time, while Fantasy Justifier went close at Kempton latest and Captain Ryan was not far away at Lingfield. All have the advantage of recent runs, but perhaps TROTTER can take the spoils here. Stuart Kittow's gelding had some higher-rated rivals behind when second in a claimer here last time out, looks nicely treated off a mark of 57 and the booking of Adam Kirby in the saddle adds to his appeal.
Prediction : 1st Trotter 2nd Brockey Rise 3rd Captain Ryan

As Little Devil is he only one with a run to her name and a poor one at that, it looks wise to focus on the newcomers. Crime Of Passion is related to a number of sprint winners so should be sharp, while Lambeth Walk is out of a dam who placed at sprint trips and is related to a number of speedy types. Richard Hannon runs both Dreamy Rascal and Amber Road, but preference is for WHISPERING LEAVES, who is a half-sister to a 5f winner as a juvenile and hails from a yard that can ready one first time.
Prediction : 1st Whispering Leaves 2nd Lambeth Walk 3rd Amber Road

PUDS returned from four months off the track with a victory at Chelmsford last time and a 3lb rise for that win might not be enough to stop Richard Hughes' filly, who won over C&D last year. Miracle Works is respected on his hat-trick bid after two victories on artificial surfaces, while King Robert struck at Chelmsford last month and is rated 5lb lower on turf.
Prediction : 1st Puds 2nd Miracle Works 3rd King Robert

FIELDS OF ATHENRY returned to action with an impressive second at Lingfield and the extra two furlongs is expected to suit James Tate's charge, while Ryan Moore's presence in the saddle is another big positive. Albert Finney has won two of his four starts this year and showed he acts over this trip when successful at Lingfield, while Little Rock is another who has been showing solid form on the all-weather of late.
Prediction : 1st Fields Of Athenry 2nd Albert Finney 3rd Little Rock

Deal A Dollar ran well for second on his sole start as a juvenile and the son of Frankel is expected to improve for the extra two furlongs here, though on his first run back it could be worth taking him on with TELECASTER. Hughie Morrison's colt was an unfancied 20/1 chance on debut at Doncaster, but fared well in second, pulling nine lengths clear of the rest of the field. If he comes on for that outing, he could be tough to stop. Suakin is interesting on her return for John Gosden, while Video Diva and Australis are interesting newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Telecaster 2nd Deal A Dollar 3rd Australis

RUN AFTER GENESIS left some pretty dire juvenile form firmly behind him when scoring on his reappearance at Kempton and a 4lb rise might not be enough to stop him following up. Sea Of Marengo has a similar situation after winning a match race on his return and he could be a factor, while Shifting Gold showed plenty of promise last term and could be a major factor.
Prediction : 1st Run After Genesis 2nd Shifting Gold 3rd Sea Of Marengo

Kirkland Forever secured back-to-back successes over 1m4f before finishing third over 1m2f when last seen. All those runs came at Brighton so it might be she saves her best for the south coast venue. AMARETTO had shown little preference for any track in previous seasons, but the application of a visor provided instant results at Lingfield last time and he may be capable of striking in the same headgear here. Vanity Vanity, Sauchiehall Street and Famous Dynasty have all placed on the all-weather recently and have claims.
Prediction : 1st Amaretto 2nd Kirkland Forever 3rd Vanity Vanity
