Those performances suggest that he should be capable of winning off his current mark. Legal History has taken big steps forward in his last couple of starts and the progressive four-year-old should not be underestimated. Leapaway was in very good form earlier in the season, winning five times between June and September, and he is another who could go very well.

Tzar De L'Elfe has been holding his form well, finding just one too good on the last three occasions, but could be set for a supporting role again behind MAGIC RIVER. The Milton Harris-trained eight-year-old shaped like his turn might be close when runner-up at Stratford last week, and a first-time visor could spark the necessary improvement. Winter Soldier and course winner Jot'em Down can fight it out for the bronze medal.

HE'S A GOER puts in his best performances on good ground and can build on his Warwick second. He was giving weight to a well-treated winner on that occasion and is fancied to go one better. It's Got Legs did it nicely in a C&D handicap, while Francky Du Berlais was far from disgraced when raised in class at Worcester back in October. Prabeni was deemed good enough to run in the juvenile handicap at Cheltenham but has since disappointed at Newbury.

A wind operation worked a treat for KEREMAN, who justified favouritism at Uttoxeter, and the unexposed five-year-old is fancied to double up under 10lb claimer William Marshall. C&D winner Age Of Wisdom represents a big threat after an easy victory here two weeks ago, while Don't Tell George probably has a bit to find with the aforementioned pair but looks best of the remainder.
