With confidence restored, she can go close off what remains a workable mark of 114. Smiling Eliza disappointed last time but has every chance on the form of her Leopardstown fifth before that, while Queen's Magic is unlikely to be far away either.

The top-rated Go Another One impressively won a Grade 3 contest at Thurles last time and has every chance here, while Coolanly merits consideration following respectable efforts at both the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals. Eur Gone West has bolted up in handicaps the last twice and is respected, as are Kingofthecotswolds and Captain Tommy. Preference, however, is for CAPTAIN TOMMY, who has yet to taste defeat over hurdles and could improve further for stretching out in distance.

Walt had been cracking form, winning in Grade 3 company at Kempton, before struggling in the Close Brothers at Cheltenham and he warrants plenty of respect with his sights lowered, but SPECIAL PREP shades the verdict for Pauline Robson and Henry Brooke. The seven-year-old has won two of his last three starts in impressive fashion, finishing half a length second in between, and he can remain competitive despite a further 9lb hike in the ratings. Red Giant and Swingbridge are others to note.

However, the best of the raiders may well be Karl Thornton's SHANROE AL C, who kept on strongly to taste success at Limerick earlier this month and won that day like a horse with plenty more up his sleeve.

Curious Carlos is interesting reverting to hurdles on his reappearance off what could be a lenient mark, while Golden Jeffrey may be suited by a drop back to two miles having won over course and distance in the past.
