Leicester runner-up Dominus looks to have improved from two to three years and should make his presence felt, while newcomers Jubiloso and Ice Cave are both worth a market check at least representing powerful connections. However, this could be yet another winner for the King Power Racing team courtesy of HERO HERO. He finished a neck second on his debut at Doncaster in November despite doing plenty wrong and not having the smoothest of passages, and normal improvement will make him tough to beat.

WALK ON WALTER had been in excellent form during the autumn/winter and looked better than ever when returning from a small break over C&D early last month, winning by an eased-down three lengths. A 7lb rise for that victory is fair and this progressive son of Footstepsinthesand will likely take some stopping once again. Areen Heart certainly wasn't disgraced behind the high-class Kachy in a conditions race at Lingfield last week and he is respected reverting to handicap company, similarly Storm Over.

Andrew Balding has his string in fine order and a big run on seasonal reappearance from FOXTROT LADY would be no huge surprise. She progressed massively during 2018 and receives weight from most of this field. Hey Jonesy has been gelded and had a wind operation after a solid campaign last season, while Dream Of Dreams was deemed good enough to run in a Group 1 in October.

PENTLAND LAD has gone up 15lb since early March after successive Kempton wins over 7f and shouldn't be deterred by this change in track and drop in distance back under Oisin Murphy. He knuckled down to score cosily last time, justifying odds-on favouritism, and may have too much for Lingfield runner-up Temple of Wonder. First-time gelding Spirit Of May finished a pleasing third over course and distance in November and is also noted on his return to action.

BACACARAT could well be the answer here dropped back to a mile following his disappointing Doncaster reappearance over 10 furlongs, and could take advantage of a mark which has dropped to just 2lb higher than when dead-heating for first in a competitive Newmarket handicap last summer. Dual course and distance winner Able Jack ran with credit when third here last time and is respected off a 1lb lower mark, while the application of a hood may help Hugo Palmer's Labrega.

CROSSE FIRE has been in excellent form of late, winning three of his last four starts, and is the one they all have to beat if able to repeat his best away from his beloved Southwell. Quick Breath rattled the crossbar over course and distance on his reappearance earlier this month and is respected, with Blame Culture also noted having been sent off favourite at Kempton off 1lb higher last time.

ADMIRAL ROOKE was mightily impressive when scoring over five furlongs here last week and must have a huge chance if proving just as effective up at six furlongs. Rock In Society was second at Kempton over 7f last time and is respected dropping back in distance, while Kellington Kitty and course winner Kyllukey are others to consider, with the latter having the assistance of Richard Kingscote.
