Andre Amar displayed plenty of promise as a juvenile and he has to be respected on his seasonal return, while Nigg Bay and Stanhope are others who could go well in a wide-open event.

Downforce has twice finished second to the selection in Group events and he could chase him home once again, while Nebo and Iiex Excelsa are the pick of the remainder.

HAMARIYNA caught the eye when a fast-finishing third on her debut over 7f at Leopardstown and, almost certain to improve for this step up in trip, she rates the one to beat. Simply Beautiful showed that she has improved from two to three years when a respectable fifth at Cork and Aidan O'Brien's charge is likely to take another step forward, while the 82-rated Fancy Feat merits consideration equipped with first-time cheekpieces on her seasonal reappearance.

DONT QUIT looked to win a shade cosily over 1m at Leopardstown earlier in the month and, entitled to improve for that first outing since October, he might be able to defy a 6lb rise. Misty Millie bounces out off the same mark as when half-a-length second at Clonmel last week (due to go up 1lb in the near future) and she is entitled to go close again, while Dundalk runner-up Above Us Only Sky and Here In The Dark, who returns to the Flat following some pleasing efforts over timber, are others to note.

SANTORINI SUN showed up well for a long way on stable/seasonal debut for Dermot McLoughlin three weeks ago when third and is fancied to land the spoils from this low draw. A mark of 55 looks there to be taken advantage of and the four-year-old can account for Punches Pious, who is a course winner and returned to form at Gowran when fifth earlier this month, and Acari, who looked progressive last season.

Irish Derby entrant TROSSACHS really caught the eye when ninth on debut at Leopardstown 22 days ago and could take the required step forward here for Jim Bolger. The step up to 12 furlongs promises to suit this New Approach colt and he can put that first racecourse experience to good use. King Pellinor was a couple of places ahead of the selection in that same maiden and warrants respect, while his stablemate Sir Dragonet is another to note given that he is entered in the Group 2 Dante at York next month.

Jessica Harrington has her string in fine order currently so any market support for Irish/stable newcomer Dandjira would be worth noting, while Godolphin newcomer Smart Living comes from a family that trainer Jim Bolger knows well and is noted. Preference, though, is for HASANABAD, who has shown enough in two starts to suggest he can win one of these. The drop in trip and better ground will suit Dermot Weld's charge and he can land this before making an impact in handicaps.
