JATILUWIH made a winning UK debut at Ludlow last month and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough to win this contest. Alrightjack has found one too good on his last couple of starts and he could once again fill the runner-up position. Shiroccan Roll has some questions to answer following two poor performances, but he is a player based on his form from earlier in the season.

THE CROONER has displayed promise in both starts since arriving from France and he appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to shed his maiden tag. Grey Diamond failed to complete at Wetherby last time out but he should not be underestimated in a race of this nature. Others to consider are Chapmanshype and Jen's Boy.

Barton Knoll and Air De Rock finished second and third respectively at Bangor and they are closely matched here, while the lightly-weighted Triple Chief can't be ruled out under good amateur Bryan Carver. Preference, however, is for Jordan Nailor's mount BESTWORK, who made a pleasing return to action when runner-up at Stratford and could improve for the application of first-time cheekpieces.

ESPALION won comfortably over C&D on his second handicap start and first outing since wind surgery, and, although a 7lb rise will obviously make life a lot tougher, the progressive five-year-old might be able to complete the double. Adherence returned from a year off the track to win gamely at Taunton and warrants respect off 3lb higher, while Realta Dawn is worth a market check at least on her first outing for Christian Williams.

THEGIRLFROMMILAN has been in fine form in the pointing field and arrives unbeaten in three. The nine-year-old was a runaway 30-length winner at Llanfrynach on her first run since December and could be hard to beat. Mister Robbo is another to impress between the flags lately and rates the main danger, with Fateh and Pink Eyed Pedro also capable of getting involved.

BILLY MY BOY struck at Newton Abbot when last seen in August and having run well fresh in the past, the 10-year-old, who won this race in 2017, makes plenty of appeal on his reappearance. Delface has performed respectably since scoring at Uttoxeter in December and requires consideration, with Flight To Nowhere also of note just 2lb higher than when second over track and trip earlier this month.
