VISION DU PUY won over hurdles on her sole start in France and is an interesting recruit to the JP McManus operation as she also debuts for Dan Skelton. Off The Hook drops in trip after finishing fourth in a handicap over an extended 2m4f at Newbury and has viable place claims, though Gordon Elliott's raider Edene D'Arc is the one expected to put up most resistance now eased in grade.
Prediction : 1st Vision Du Puy 2nd Edene DArc 3rd Off The Hook

CHRISTMAS IN APRIL won off 4lb lower over hurdles last year and is interesting now dropping in trip, having failed to stay an extended 2m7f at Chepstow last time. Imada attracted support at Sedgefield latest, when finishing a disappointing third, but he's on a workable mark at present all the same and has place possibilities along with Boy's On Tour, who is rated 7lb higher than when scoring over C&D last summer. From Eden has obvious claims too if taking his chance after his engagement here on Thursday.
Prediction : 1st Christmas In April 2nd Imada 3rd Boys On Tour

Gordon Elliott representative Count Simon ran well under more forceful tactics at Downpatrick last month and is expected to remain competitive now returned to handicap company, though narrow preference is for SCHIEHALLION MUNRO, who has been holding his form well in novice company and could feasibly show up well off his current perch on his handicap bow. Secrete Stream is worth a market check too now returning from a break.
Prediction : 1st Schiehallion Munro 2nd Count Simon 3rd Secrete Stream

Atlanta Ablaze was running a fine race until taking a tired fall at the second last in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham and sets a decent standard. That said, the performance could have taken plenty out of her and a chance is taken with recent Ayr faller DRINKS INTERVAL. She is likely to make this a good test from the front and the booking of Jonjo O'Neill Jr. looks a notable positive. Got Away has been consistent over the past couple of months and her recent second behind Mister Whitaker at Cheltenham puts her right in the mix.
Prediction : 1st Drinks Interval 2nd Got Away 3rd Atlanta Ablaze

Temple Man shaped well on his handicap debut over timber when third at Kelso last time and Ruth Jefferson's gelding is open to further improvement in this sphere. Imperial Elysian, Out For Justice and Angel's Envy are others worthy of consideration, but the vote goes to LOAD UP TIME. Second here on Wednesday over 3m, the addition of a tongue tie and cheekpieces along with the drop in distance can see Gordon Elliott's gelding go one better.
Prediction : 1st Load Up Time 2nd Temple Man 3rd Imperial Elysian

MISFITS was narrowly denied over 4m at Hexham last month by Weststreet, who reopposes, and the slight drop in trip can see him reverse that form. Weststreet has improved his form since presented with a stiffer test of stamina and may well have more to offer, while Gold Opera outran his 50-1 odds to finish fourth at Aintree and is of interest if seeing this out.
Prediction : 1st Misfits 2nd Weststreet 3rd Gold Opera

Big Bad Bear hasn't done much wrong in three career starts and deserves to land one of these. Fergal O'Brien won this last year with the talented Jarveys Plate and better will be expected this time from Cage Of Fear after his mediocre debut under Rules at Ffos Las in February. MAM TRASNA, however, was third behind the classy Malone Road on debut before scoring at Kelso for his previous connections. He has joined Gordon Elliott since and could prove tough to stop despite carrying a penalty.
Prediction : 1st Mam Trasna 2nd Big Bad Bear 3rd Cage Of Fear

Milvale has found just one too good in each of his two bumper outings for Sandy Thomson, while Stuart Crawford has booked Richard Johnson and Harry Skelton for his pair No Quarter Asked and Archie Brown and any market support for either would be worth noting. Peter Bowen has a good record at this meeting and EQUUS DANCER was an impressive winner at Carlisle 33 days ago. He was eased up approaching the line that day and can put his experience to good use. Taking Flight showed up well for a long way when third on his introduction and is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Equus Dancer 2nd Milvale 3rd Taking Flight
