Reggae Runner was only caught in the shadow of the post when finishing a neck second at Musselburgh on Saturday and the son of Lethal Force is 3lb well in today. That said, the preference is for HOUSE OF KINGS, who displayed plenty of promise in all three starts as a juvenile. Clive Cox's colt was last seen winning at Leicester in September and that form has been boosted with the second, third and fourth all winning since, which suggests that he may be underestimated by an opening mark of 86. Fox Leicester beat very little when a 1/4 favourite at Chelmsford last month but it confirmed his well-being and he completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st House Of Kings 2nd Reggae Runner 3rd Fox Leicester

CRYSTAL OCEAN won this race 12 months ago and the son of Sea The Stars should repeat that success this afternoon. Sir Michael Stoute's entire went on to win the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot and was twice placed at Group 1 level later in the year. His lack of a recent run is a slight concern but the five-year-old should be good enough to overcome that today. Trais Fluors made a pleasing return to action when winning at Chantilly last month and he has to be respected having made the trip over from France. Thundering Blue is more than capable of running well in a race of this nature but he is vulnerable having to give 3lb to the field.
Prediction : 1st Crystal Ocean 2nd Trais Fluors 3rd Thundering Blue

BANGKOK built on the promise he showed as a juvenile when improving for the step up in trip at Doncaster last month to shed his maiden tag and, given how well the form of that contest has worked out, is well worth his place up in class. John Gosden has won this contest four times since 2010 and his pair, Travel On and Alfaatik, warrant plenty of respect. That said, the former appears to want further based on his Lingfield success last time and the latter has to step up markedly from his debut success at Chelmsford, so the main danger could well be Technician, who was an impressive winner of a minor event at Leicester a few weeks ago.
Prediction : 1st Bangkok 2nd Technician 3rd Travel On

Addeybb has been a bit disappointing since winning this race last year but it wouldn't be a big surprise to see him bounce back to form today, although his chances would improve if plenty of rain were to fall. Sharja Bridge confirmed the promise that he displayed when taking the Balmoral Handicap last season by winning well in the Doncaster Mile on his return last month. That said, he had very little to beat that day and the five-year-old faces a much tougher task today. With that in mind, the preference is for BEAT THE BANK, who won the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot last July and he also won at the same level at Goodwood the following month. The son of Paco Boy does not have to carry a penalty today and he cannot be discounted. Oh This Is Us arrives here on the back of a win at Lingfield a week ago and he is another who could make the frame.
Prediction : 1st Beat The Bank 2nd Sharja Bridge 3rd Oh This Is Us

Plenty of these have claims but none more so than LEODIS DREAM, who showed a good attitude to win at Thirsk a couple of weeks ago. A 4lb rise in the ratings for that success may not be enough to stop this progressive gelding from taking this contest as well. Kurious was not disgraced in two starts at Group/Listed level after making a winning debut over C&D last June and she should not be discounted, while Prince of Rome and Good Luck Fox are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Leodis Dream 2nd Kurious 3rd Good Luck Fox

This race looks sure to go to a well above-average filly and that could well be SPARKLE ROLL, who created a very big impression when winning at Haydock last September. The daughter of Kingman is a half-sister to the Derby winner Wings Of Eagles and she also appears to have plenty of ability. King Power, who cost 2,500,000gns as a yearling, is entitled to improve for her debut at Newbury last October, while Scentasia and Monogamy are others who have already displayed promise on the racecourse. The pick of the newcomers is Sea of Faith, who still holds an Oaks entry and she is a full-sister to the recent Australian Group 1 winner Shraaoh, as well as another Group performer in Raheen House.
Prediction : 1st Sparkle Roll 2nd Sea of Faith 3rd King Power

PRIVATE SECRETARY was made to work hard to reward favourite backers in a 1m2f Redcar novice race earlier in the month but this son of Kingman should continue to improve. This stiffer test of stamina is likely to be in his favour and an opening mark of 83 should be workable. New King is a stablemate of the selection and is another with valid form claims, while Layaleena has to be respected having been thought worthy of contesting the Group 1 Fillies' Mile on her final start as a juvenile. Prince Of Harts may not have quite as an attractive profile as some of his rivals today but Rod Millman's gelding won well at Wolverhampton last month and he should not be underestimated.
Prediction : 1st Private Secretary 2nd New King 3rd Prince Of Harts
