ISHEBAYORGREY will be a known name to regular Dundalk punters and could find a bit of improvement now switched to the Iain Jardine yard running on British shores off a mark of 60. The seven-year-old has some solid all-weather form in Ireland and can prove too strong for recent course winner Midnight Vixen, who has only gone up 1lb for that effort, and Betty Grable, whose confidence should be high after she shed the maiden tag at the 18th attempt when last seen in January.

Rey Loopy doesn't know how to run a bad race here and sets a fair form standard, but a mark of 84 looks stiff enough on the Tapeta and perhaps CHAPLIN BAY can prove too strong in the dying strides. Third on his reappearance here on Good Friday, Ruth Carr's charge should have come on plenty for that outing and he looks like the one to be with. Chosen World was second in that same race 11 days ago but already had race-fitness on his side.

Pendleton finished second twice last season and could be a typically progressive three-year-old from the Michael Dods yard to follow this season, while Delachance warrants a second look representing a Newmarket-based trainer who has a good record at the track. Preference, though, is for YOU LITTLE RIPPER, who finished second behind last week's impressive Sandown scorer Masaru on the all-weather three weeks ago. That looks to be the strongest form on offer and Peter Chapple-Hyam's charge looks poised to strike.

BAHKIT has winning C&D form in the book and is expected to build on his recent distance second off 2lb lower at Redcar in order to take a hand. Majestic Stone has a break to overcome but makes some appeal on his placed efforts here last summer, while there could be a big run on the cards from Ascot Week, a dual course winner over 1m who was outpaced at Pontefract last time and promises to be suited by this step up in trip.

SURFMAN took a step in the right direction when landing a Nottingham maiden over the extended 1m in November and, with his yard in great order at present, the Kingman colt is expected to show up well on his seasonal return. Smeaton is entitled to improve on his debut fifth at Redcar earlier in the month and could feasibly take closer order, though a bigger danger may be Simon Crisford's newcomer, Persian Beauty, who is a full-sister to the classy Danadana.

A pair of handicap debutants catch the eye as both Blindingly and Kingdom Brunel have run well in defeat on a couple of occasions, including at this track. Both have to be afforded respect, but perhaps the greater experience of NEWMARKET WARRIOR could prove vital. The eight-year-old gelding doesn't win often, but he is 1lb lower than when last successful and showed he can still mix it in this company when second over 7f here last time.

Scots Sonnet has gone close here the last twice, over a mile and 7f, but considering he started life in bumpers it's debatable whether he will act over this trip. Lucky Lodge went close at Wolverhampton last time and was beaten just a neck on his last start at this venue, but GOWANBUSTER gets the vote. A winner over the minimum trip here two starts ago, Susan Corbett's sprinter has since gone well on turf at Musselburgh and could be a major player.
