Hollaback Girl benefited from a disappointing debut when going close on the Southwell all-weather and has claims if effective on turf, but BEIGNET looks the pick of those with experience. Richard Hannon's filly ran a solid race in second on debut at Brighton and normal progression from that could be enough to strike. Newcomer Bacchalot also represents Hannon, but the pick of those making their introduction is Richard Fahey's Internationalangel, a 110,000gns half-sister to a number of winning sprinters.

Space Blues won here last season and should have blown the cobwebs away with a run at Newbury recently, but he has to give weight to a number of useful-looking rivals, including FIFTH POSITION. Roger Varian's gelding was a solid enough fourth on debut at Newbury and is expected to have come on for that experience. Queen Of Mayfair is likely to prove better than she showed on her sole start as a juvenile, while Rhythmic Intent displayed plenty of promise in two starts here last term.

ROSEMAN made a decent enough fist of things when third at Newbury on debut and the fourth has since franked the form in handicap company, so he can land the spoils. Junooh was an unfancied 20-1 chance on his debut at Newmarket and probably fared better than expected. There are a couple of interesting horses making their seasonal reappearances here, most notably Lady Lawyer, who scored on her debut at Kempton, and Deebee, who was a good second here when last seen.

AL MESSILA showed potential in three starts last season on the all-weather and could improve for the switch to turf and handicap company for Richard Hannon. The three-year-old has also had a wind operation and a mark of 71 could be lenient. Isango took advantage of an attractive opening mark when scoring at Wolverhampton 25 days ago and is only 4lb higher now, while Mary Somerville could also be involved for John Gosden.

Black Lotus was progressive on turf last season over 12 furlongs and might find this trip a bit sharp on her seasonal reappearance, while Yusra has found just one too good the last twice but doesn't appear to have much in hand off a mark of 78. There was much to like about QUEEN PENN's Doncaster fourth last month, when she travelled well for a long way on ground that may not have been ideal for her. This softer surface and the step up in trip will suit, while Sean Davis' valuable 5lb claim also helps.

Arctic Ocean has been brought along slowly by Sir Michael Stoute and warrants a betting check on handicap/seasonal debut under Oisin Murphy, while Queen Constantine landed a weak contest here when last seen in November and will need to step up once more. Guroor looks likely to enjoy this first attempt at 10 furlongs, but SAY NOTHING caught the eye with some impressive all-weather displays last year and could be one to follow now handicapping for a shrewd yard off an opening mark of 74.

CHAMPAGNE CHAMP was an easy winner over the sticks at Ffos Las nine days ago off a mark of 124 and Rod Millman's charge could strike back in this sphere. Winning off 79 looks well within his capabilities and the addition of Oisin Murphy to the saddle suggests that connections mean business. Valkenburg won a competitive 2m2f race at Pontefract three weeks ago and should go well again, while Really Super is also noted representing Amy Murphy and Silvestre De Sousa.

TENAX ran well for a long way on stable debut for Nigel Tinkler when third behind a winner who has since followed up in a better race. The three-year-old looks poised to go close once more off just 1lb higher. That was his first outing for seven months and his first since being gelded, so it would be a surprise if there wasn't more to come. Free Love was an impressive scorer over course and distance 20 days ago and deserves respect, while Converter looks open to no end of improvement.
