MOSS GILL has shown enough promise in his two starts to date to suggest that he is capable of winning a maiden of this nature. He finished second to an impressive winner at Wolverhampton and is entitled to have improved for that outing with it being his first start in 10 months. Lady In France is a half-sister to the admirable sprinter Stepper Point, who won a Group 2 at his best, and is respected on her debut, while Skeetah ran better than her odds suggested when fifth over C&D last month and she can take a step forward from that outing.

The lightly-raced DUBAI LEGACY won two of his three outings last year, with his only defeat coming in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, and the Godolphin colt is of real interest now up in trip on his handicap debut. Glorious Lover is another switching to the handicap ranks following his second in a Listed contest when last seen and has to be taken seriously, while Hyperfocus makes his first start for Tim Easterby and is closely matched with the consistent Gallipoli, with not much separating them when they met at Chelmsford in October.

GOWANBUSTER has won on his last two visits to Gosforth Park and having thrived over course and distance earlier this week, when scoring comfortably by the best part of three lengths, he makes plenty of appeal once again under a 5lb penalty. Everkyllachy goes in search of a hat-trick off the same mark as when successful in an apprentice handicap at Wolverhampton last time and is of real interest, while track-and-trip winner Epeius wasn't far away at Redcar last month.

INSPIRED THOUGHT has been successful on both outings so far and having just held on over six furlongs at Southwell last time, is well worth dropping back in trip on her handicap debut to see what she can accomplish at the minimum distance.
