Forced was not disgraced at Lingfield on her first outing and is respected.

Sky Defender was far from disgraced when third at Kempton in October and returns to action off a 3lb lower mark, while Boutonniere won in gritty fashion at Lingfield two starts ago but struggled at Beverley off this rating last time. ENTERTAINING gets the vote, though, as he was not too far away in a competitive Newmarket maiden on his return and could be well treated on his handicap bow.

SIMBIRSK ran a cracker on his reappearance (and first start for John O'Shea) when second at Windsor last month and a 3lb rise for that neck defeat looks fair. He is taken to get the better of Contingency Fee, who had reeled off a hat-trick of early-season wins before coming unstuck at Southwell latest. Maroc is interesting on his first start since wind surgery as he ran well over timber when last seen.

He has claims if back to form, while Oneovdem could go well if as effective on turf as the all-weather, but COGITAL could be worth a chance. Amanda Perrett's gelding signed off last year with a good third at Kempton and the yard's horses appear to be performing well now.

Fareeq has been running well at Lingfield of late and is a danger to all if as effective on turf, while David's Beauty is only 1lb higher than when second here last season and ran well at Wolverhampton last month.

Miss Enigma is interesting under a penalty for her victory at Wolverhampton last time, while Brother Bentley also has an extra 6lb after landing the spoils at Chepstow on Tuesday. Cobweb Catcher ran well at Nottingham latest and a 1lb drop for that looks generous, but BEQUEST missed out by just a length over this course and distance last time and could go one better off the same mark.
