Diamond Lady struck in good style at Brighton last time but the handicapper appears to have taken no chances in raising her 7lb, so handicap debutant HARRY'S BAR gets the vote. James Fanshawe's gelding has gone close in a pair of novice events at Kempton so far this term and a mark of 78 may just underestimate his ability. Private Matter ran well enough over C&D last time to have a chance, while Blackheath was not disgraced in a decent Newmarket handicap on his reappearance.

Purdey's Gift ran well in a novice event at Newcastle on his reappearance and shaped as though this trip would suit, while Lucipherus looked a little tapped for toe at Yarmouth on his reappearance but should improve for the run and the extra distance here. Hermocrates should not be dismissed for Richard Hannon, but HUMMDINGER missed out by less than a length on his handicap debut and seasonal return. Alan King's charge could come on for that outing and defy a 3lb higher mark.

GRAPEVINE had a largely unsuccessful spell with Nicky Henderson before returning to Charles Hills last summer and still finding life difficult. He looked a different animal when beaten just half a length on his return at Brighton last month, though, so could be capable of scoring off just 2lb higher. Lawn Ranger's all-weather form gives him a real chance in this, while Cote d'Azur also has claims.

I'vegotthepower won back-to-back races when last seen but has been off the track for almost two years since and is still 5lb higher than when scoring at Bath. In contrast, TOP MISSION ran a cracker to miss out by just a head at Chelmsford two weeks ago and could be a big player off the same mark. Lush Life was considered good enough to contest a Listed race when last seen and has claims, along with Masham Star, who is starting to look well handicapped.

To The Moon caught the eye on her sole start as a juvenile for John Gosden, while Roger Varian's Tammooz also ran well on his latest outing as a two-year-old. Desert Land and Davydenko are others who could build on juvenile promise, but SPARKLE IN HIS EYE was impressive in securing victory at Newcastle in January and William Haggas' charge might be capable of defying a penalty in this.

The hat-trick could be on for ARISHKA here. Daniel Kubler's filly followed up an emphatic Newcastle success with a fast-finishing victory at Nottingham last time and a 4lb higher mark than for the latest of those successes seems fair. Robert Cowell's handicap debutants Finch Hatton and Turquoise Friendly both merit respect, while Tomahawk Ridge was not disgraced at Redcar and is worth a second glance at least.
