OCASIO CORTEZ made a promising start to her racing career when a length fourth over 5f at Doncaster and, likely to improve for stretching out in distance, she rates the one to beat. Dark Of Night badly missed the break on his debut at Kempton and he should be a lot wiser with that run under his belt, while Genever Dragon, Pinatubo, Platinum Star and War Storm are all interesting newcomers worthy of a market check at least.

GIVEPEACEACHANCE relished a step up in trip when second following a 110-day break here last time and looks poised to go one better for Denis Coakley. Course and distance scorer Howardian Hills looks next best but hasn't been on the track since October.

However, the son of Kodiac gives weight to all his rivals and faces a couple of interesting three-year-olds in newcomer Barrajeel, a half-brother to Group 1-winner Eqtidaar, and C&D winner YOUTHFUL. The latter gets the vote as he won nicely back in November and a gelding operation could see him improve further.
