Others to consider are Dr Doro, Maygold and Peggie Sue.

SINGING THE BLUES has been in outstanding form in recent months and a reproduction of the effort that saw him win at Bath recently should be good enough to take this contest. Bodacious Name did not appear to relish the Fibresand last time out but he won twice at Pontefract last year and should not be discounted. The shortlist is completed by Nuits St Georges and Looking For Carl.

HEAVENLY HOLLY was handed a peach of a ride by Ryan Moore when scoring at Lingfield on Good Friday and could be worth following while on an upwards trajectory. Her dam was a 7f winner on good ground and the switch to turf shouldn't deter Hugo Palmer's charge. Indian Tygress ran better than what her finishing position of fourth suggested at Kempton last time, while Queen Jo Jo was far from disgraced when fifth in the Group 3 Fred Darling at Newbury a month ago.

Course winner Kadrizzi is on a long losing run and although he is unexposed over this trip, he arrives with plenty to find over this sort of distance on ground with a bit of juice in it. Glacier Fox won on fast ground at Beverley last month and needs to prove as effective in these conditions, so a chance can be taken on SNOOKERED. Rated 109 over hurdles but only 73 on the Flat, he arrives here fit after a spin over obstacles 16 days ago and looks fairly treated back in this sphere.

CHINGACHGOOK was only beaten a neck at Haydock a fortnight ago and the son of Al Kazeem is taken to go one better on his second outing on the Flat for Tristan Davidson, despite a 2lb rise in the handicap. Music Seeker was third behind the selection on that occasion and is likely to pose a solid threat once again, while Highfaluting can take a step forward from his third on handicap debut at Windsor last month.

LETHAL MISSILE appreciated the step up to 1m when striking at Windsor last month and could have further improvement in the pipeline as he bids to defy a 4lb rise. Onebaba turned in a much improved performance when third over 7f at Wolverhampton last time and is a potential improver now tackling 1m for the first time on his handicap bow. The pick of the remainder may be Cardano, who rattled the crossbar when third over this trip at Haydock two weeks ago.

BARON RUN ran a big race from the front when second over 1m at Southwell 10 days ago and is expected to mount another bold bid now operating off a 2lb lower turf rating. Sea Shack rarely runs a bad race and looks weighted to go well off a mark of 53, the same rating he finished a neck third off over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in March. Lukoutoldmakezebak appears dangerously treated, having struck off 5lb higher on the all-weather last year, and is another for the shortlist.
