POPPY KAY only had a 44-rated rival to beat in a two-runner event at Doncaster last time out but she gained further experience over fences and gets the nod this evening. Chase debutant Vivant, who won four times over timber last year, is better than what she demonstrated at Ayr last time and is considered the main danger to the selection ahead of Kentford Heiress.

POTTERMAN was fifth in a competitive Kempton handicap before finding one too good at Ayr four weeks ago, and although a mark of 126 looks stiff enough, he appreciates a sound surface and doesn't have many miles on the clock this year. Nicky Henderson can ready one after an absence and there was much to like about Tales Of The Tweed's displays for him when last seen in the 2016/17 season, while Comrade Conrad scored here for Dan Skelton last month and is another to note.

The latter scored in a point-to-point in March before joining his current stable and is expected to know his job on his first start under Rules, given he is related to plenty of winners.
