ASHOKA returns from over a year off the track and is likely to be ready to go for a stable that continues to operate to an impressive 25 percent strike-rate. Oliver's Gold has finished second on his last four starts and is likely to be competitive once again having won this contest last year, while All Is Good's latest performance at Ludlow gives him a chance.

HIDDEN GLEN was arguably a fortunate winner of his novice hurdle at Kempton last October due to the wayward tendencies of more than one of his rivals. That said, he shaped as though he would be suited by a step up in distance and there could be scope for improvement off his handicap mark. The Drone's C&D success puts him in contention despite a 6lb rise from the handicapper, while Three Bullet Gate could benefit from the return to 3m on the evidence of his Uttoxeter fourth at the end of March.

SUDDEN DESTINATION will need to jump better than he did when second on his latest outing at Fakenham, but he is in the right hands to improve in that department and a more conventional track may just play to his strengths. Monkey Puzzle returns from 730 days off the track, having clearly had his issues since being pulled up at Ludlow exactly two years ago, but is capable of a decent showing if ready to roll. Dontbitedabait cost 68,000 pounds at the Goffs January sale in 2018 and is an interesting newcomer for Jonjo O'Neill.
