Dashed isn't dismissed for an in-form yard and rates as another to consider along with Thirsk winner Material Girl and I Am Magical.

APOLLINAIRE made all to open his account on debut in a small-field novice stakes at Doncaster earlier this month and, having beaten two useful-looking rivals on that occasion, is likely to give another good account stepping up in trip. What A Business didn't have the clearest of passages when second at Chelmsford and should go well, while Pitchcombe and Little Bird are two newcomers to consider.

GENTLEWOMAN was too good for a more fancied stablemate when only beaten a neck over track and trip on debut in what was a hot-looking maiden. That experience will have done John Gosden's well-bred Shamardal filly the world of good and she can open her account this time. Stablemate Whimbrel disappointed on debut, but the 375,000-euros purchase may be suited by the drop in distance, while Royal newcomers Break Of Day and Clarion are hard to split and need plenty of respect.

HAMEEM improved to win twice at the back end of last season, including in handicap company over C&D in September, and the daughter of Teofilo looks capable of further progression off a 3lb higher mark. The Pinto Kid and C'Est No Mour complete the shortlist.
