He should be capable of making his mark at this level and the son of Lope De Vega edges out Eightsome Reel and Khuzaam to be the pick of the remainder.

JASH was an impressive winner on his first two starts as a juvenile and he only found Ten Sovereigns too good in the Middle Park over 6f here in September. The son of Kodiac should stay this far and he will be hard to beat if reproducing his best two-year-old form. Azano showed good speed in the 2000 Guineas last time out but he did not get home on that occasion and this trip should be more suitable. Watan is entitled to improve for his comeback run in the Craven and is another who could go well.

Moraawed just edged out DAZZLING DAN when the pair met over this trip at Doncaster late last month but there are valid to reasons to believe that the latter could turn that form around. Firstly, Pam Sly's gelding was making his seasonal return on that occasion, whereas Moraawed had run at Kempton earlier in the month, and secondly he is 2lb better off at these weights for just a head. Rocket Action was not disgraced in a conditions event at Hamilton recently and he could make the frame at an each-way price.

The experienced runners don't set the bar overly high, with Salisbury fourth Falconidae seemingly the pick of that trio, so it would come as no surprise to see some of the newcomers fighting out the finish. Godolphin look to have a strong team with Declaring Love and Picture Frame, while Daahyeh warrants respect representing a Roger Varian yard that continues to fire out the winners. However, a chance is taken on RAFFLE PRIZE, an attractively-bred daughter of Slade Power who hails from the stable that won this race in both 2016 and 2018.

MOMENT OF HOPE defied her inexperience to win going away on her racecourse bow at Kempton at the end of March and, despite carrying a 6lb penalty for that success, she has Dylan Hogan's 5lb claim to aid her cause on this occasion. Ambling showed ability in juvenile outings and can take a step forward for the step up in distance, while Happy Hiker's third to a subsequent Listed-placed filly at Wetherby puts her in the mix.

FOXY FOREVER has been knocking on the door on his last couple of outings and his recent second at Musselburgh gives him solid credentials to return to winning form. Daschas ran well on his return to action at Ascot, when runner-up over this distance, and is likely to have benefited from that outing. Boundary Lane won at Doncaster at the end of last month and completes the shortlist along with Harry Hurricane.
