CLAYTON has been in flying form recently, winning a seller at Musselburgh two starts ago before landing a Redcar claimer last time. He may be flattered by a mark of 87, but still looks some way clear of the rest. Nabhan has been running respectably over timber and has claims, along with Eye Of The Storm, who has been contesting decent handicaps of late.

CASEMENT won well on his reappearance at Pontefract and after struggling on Southwell's Fibresand, he bounced back to take second last time. The step up from 1m should suit and he's taken to get the better of Geetanjali, who won at Sandown on her final start of last term and may come on for her return to action at Brighton. Meagher's Flag didn't show much on his first start for Paul Nicholls but could improve for that first outing in eight months.

Royal Lightning was a solid fourth at Thirsk on debut, while Royal Ambition filled the same spot on his first outing at Bath. Manolith won well on his penultimate start and has claims, but may struggle to give 6lb to BUSHTUCKER TRIAL, who was a decent third on his introduction at Brighton and could come on for the experience.

SYLVIACLIFFS has been hugely consistent on the all-weather, winning once and placing twice in her last four starts. Karl Burke's filly didn't show much on turf last season but has improved considerably since then and could land this. Tie A Yellowribbon, equipped with first-time blinkers, has a chance if putting her best foot forward, while Gregorian Girl is one to consider.

FEARLESS WARRIOR showed he could compete with some strong opposition when second in a hot Newmarket nursery last season and the way he ran when third at Bath on his return suggests there's plenty of improvement to come from him. Sapa Inca has been a model of consistency so far this term and she is considered, while Yarmouth winner Babbo's Boy cannot be left out of calculations.
