He is 2lb lower for this contest and can get the better of Kyllukey, who missed out by a head over a furlong further here last time. Precious Plum won here two starts ago but struggled off his revised mark last time, when he finished behind both the selection and Royal Mezyan.

Amor Fati followed up his Wolverhampton success with victory at L'Ancresse in Guernsey and is only 3lb higher than for the first of those victories, while Zodiakos won off a 3lb lower mark at Wetherby last time and has run well here in the past. Militry Decoration was a good third at Kempton last time and is also worthy of consideration, but preference is for PEARL SPECTRE, who missed out by a length off this mark over 7f here last time.

Muraad won narrowly on his reappearance at Wolverhampton and could build on that run, as could Search For Light, who struck first time out at Haydock last month. Madeeh wasn't far away on his Wolverhampton debut and could make a greater impact here, but ALMASHRIQ ran well on his return in a hot Newmarket contest and the US-bred colt could flourish back on an all-weather surface. Ghaly is bred in the purple and looks the pick of the newcomers.

MAINSAIL ATLANTIC signed off last year with a victory over this trip at Lingfield and was not disgraced on his return at Yarmouth last month. Back on the all-weather, James Fanshawe's colt is taken to strike. Global Art won well at Wolverhampton last time but his previous efforts at this venue were less impressive and he was behind Star Of Southwold when they met here in January. Paco's Prince was runner-up to Global Art two starts ago but again ran well in third last time.

Star Of Bengal was hugely impressive when winning by 10 lengths at Wolverhampton in November but to be given a mark over 100 for a maiden success appears harsh. NONIOS gets the vote, as he won well off 2lb lower over course and distance early last month and ran a respectable race off his current rating here three weeks ago. Al Hamdany has been running well in defeat of late, while Exec Chef has never been out of the first three in four all-weather starts.

ARLECCHINO'S ARC has form figures of 422311 at this venue and a 2lb rise for his recent win here might not be enough to stop him from landing a hat-trick. Mans Not Trot ran on well to score over an extended mile at Wolverhampton but has been beaten over this trip in the past, while Sharp Operator chased the selection home here last month and showed he's holding his form well when runner-up off this mark at Brighton subsequently.

Atalanta Queen has come out on top in a couple of races at Southwell recently and the narrow margins of victory may mean the handicapper hasn't yet got to grips with her. This surface is vastly different, though, so TARSEEKH is preferred. Charlie Wallis' gelding won nicely here in February and was a decent third at Wolverhampton off his current mark thereafter. Recent placegetters Rock In Society and Caledonian Gold are also worth noting.
