The third from that contest has since run a solid race in defeat so the form looks solid and he is the pick of Joseph O'Brien's trio ahead of newcomers Calidus Mirabilis and Crossfirehurricane. Ger Lyons' debutant Marchons Ensemble is out of a 7f juvenile winner so could be a big danger on debut, while the rest of those with experience have yet to show a great deal, though perhaps Graduate Goddess is the pick.

Lincoln has been in fine form in claiming company of late, winning at Sligo before going close over slightly further than this at Tipperary. Mokhalad has won over this trip in the past but his recent good form has come over 6f at Naas and the Curragh, while Sors ran well for second over an extended 6f at Listowel last time but tends to be more comfortable over shorter trips than this. GALTEE MIST could be the one to side with here, as she won her maiden over this trip at Gowran and only got going when it was too late over 6f at Cork last time.

Cruella Dovil has been beaten a neck and a nose on her last two starts and is obviously talented, but the fact she's without a win in 10 starts may suggest she's not the most straightforward. Piper Bomb had shown virtually nothing in recent starts before bounding to victory at Roscommon last time and is not certain to back that up off 6lb higher, so SYRENA gets the vote. Joseph O'Brien's filly was not beaten far in a 6f contest at the Curragh two starts ago and showed the step up to this trip was ideal when second at Leopardstown last time. She could get back to winning ways here.

TROSSACHS' fourth to Sir Dragonet at Tipperary could be the best piece of form on offer here and considering the subsequent exploits of the victorious Ballydoyle colt, Jim Bolger's son of New Approach may be set to open his account having also run well at Leopardstown last time. King Pellinor was seventh in that aforementioned Tipperary contest and can't be ignored, with Bitcoin Boy worth keeping an eye on up in trip. Hasankey produced a career best last time, but Dermot Weld's Mastercraftsman colt may need further to be seen at his best, while blinkers could unlock further improvement in Elite Trooper Grey, who brings plenty of experience to the table.

Cj Cregg got on the scoresheet at Roscommon last time and makes appeal once again off a 5lb higher mark, with Amy O'Hanlon returning to the saddle to remove 7lb. Prize Winner was fourth on that occasion and has to be taken seriously off an unaltered rating, while Charlie Stout returned to this sphere with a third at Navan earlier this month and has solid claims off the same mark. However, preference is for the consistent HAPPY COMPANY, who has finished on the podium on the last three occasions and remains feasibly treated.

MUJID, a son of Frankel and the Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Bethrah, was an impressive maiden winner at Killarney last month and he could be underestimated by an opening mark of 87. Bobby Boy returned to winning ways at Navan earlier in the season and he has to be respected, despite a 10lb rise in the ratings. Others to consider are Onlyhuman and Laughifuwant.

Aidan O'Brien has won the last two renewals of this contest and he can make it a hat-trick today with GLOBE THEATRE. The son of War Front only found one too good at Gowran Park last time out and a reproduction of that effort today should be good enough to win this contest. Basrah Breeze has displayed promise in all three previous starts and she edges out Rhydwyn and Azwah to be the pick of the remainder.
