VICTORIANO followed up a maiden handicap victory at Redcar with a cracking effort in third over 1m6f at Bath, shaping as though the step up to this trip would suit. He is taken to strike, though it would be no surprise if Champagne Marengo improved on his second in a Redcar maiden handicap now stepped up two furlongs in distance. Robeam and Nordano complete the shortlist.
