CLUB WEXFORD completed a double at Ayr four days ago despite Ben Curtis putting up 1lb over weight in the saddle. Running on strongly that day to record a two-and-a-half-length success off 3lb higher than when scoring at Wetherby two starts back, he is clearly in great nick at present and a 4lb penalty might not be enough to stop him rounding off the hat-trick. Fellow last-start scorers Lamloom and Star Of Southwold are expected to put up most resistance.

Mutamaded was narrowly beaten off 1lb lower over 1m4f on his penultimate outing at York and should go well over this slightly shorter trip, while the consistent Where's Jeff is expected to go well once again and Benadalid is worth a second look after attracting support at Ripon last time.

NEON SEA followed up her distance victory in a novice heat at Goodwood when striking on her handicap debut at Chelmsford last time. Sir Michael Stoute's improving filly is expected to continue her progression and take this rise in grade in her stride. Irish raider Viadera is respected after digging in well to land a handicap at the Curragh recently and should go well in this higher grade as she was Group 3-placed during her juvenile campaign. Cava and Summer Daydream are two other likely types to consider.

Supaulette has been knocking hard on the door and should be thereabouts if building on her recent distance second at Thirsk, though the main danger to the selection may be penalised 6f course winner Caustic Love, who receives a weight-for-age allowance from all of her rivals.
