A $1,000,000 purchase at Keeneland last January, he makes plenty of appeal on pedigree, as he is a half-brother to Commonwealth Cup winner Caravaggio, and it would be no surprise to see him make a winning start to his career. Armory and New World Tapestry can both improve from their racecourse debuts, while newcomer Radetsky represents a strong Juddmonte family and he completes the shortlist.

Sea The Lion won three on the bounce before finishing an excellent third in the Ebor at York in August, and given that the eight-year-old can go well fresh, has to be seen as a threat despite carrying top weight. Joseph O'Brien runs three and the pick of them could be PERFECT TAPATINO, who looks progressive and accounted for the consistent Massif Central at Cork 13 days ago. The selection has only gone up 2lb and gets the nod here.

The former had Smash Williams (second), Ardhoomey (third) and Rapid Reaction (fifth) in arrears when landing a Listed contest at Cork recently and could be tough to keep out of the frame, though it might be worth chancing improving three-year-old NITRO BOOST, who beat a subsequent winner when scoring over track and trip earlier in the month. Hathiq didn't appear at ease with Epsom when behind Dark Shot (second) in the Dash and may have also found a six-day turnaround too sharp after his earlier course-and-distance romp.

A five-time NH winner, he defied odds of 16-1 when flashing home to score on his Flat race debut at Roscommon earlier in the month and stretching out a couple of furlongs can only help. Recent Revelations was only half a length behind, finishing third, in that Roscommon event and is likely to give another good account, while Walking On Glass, Trossachs and Moktamel add further spice to the race.

Ger Lyons has won two of the last three renewals of this contest and LANCASTRIA shaped like the one to take from the race when second at Killarney 44 days ago. Grinn finished second at Gowran Park last month and is respected, while Macquarie can also make his presence felt.
