Be Perfect and Emily Bullock took third spot at Ripon last week and this past course scorer warrants plenty of respect lining up off the same mark, but CALLIOPE gets the vote on her return to Flat duty. Dianne Sayer has her string in fine form at present and this six-year-old daughter of Poet's Voice makes plenty of appeal just 2lb higher than when recording her latest victory. In Emma Sayer, she also has a more than capable partner. Corton Lad, Donnachies Girl and Life Knowledge are other respected players.
Prediction : 1st Calliope 2nd Be Perfect 3rd Corton Lad

ONE HART sets a fairly high standard on his debut second over C&D and he is fancied to see off a number of potentially useful newcomers. It was a Richard Fahey inmate that edged him out eight days ago and the Musley Bank handler saddles an interesting runner in Feel Good Factor. She cost 85,000 pounds as a yearling and is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, with her dam Listed-placed over 7f. Sporting the same colours is Tom Eaves aboard Magic Timing and he is respected for Keith Dalgleish, while Alwaatn Sound and Grimbold are others to note.
Prediction : 1st One Hart 2nd Feel Good Factor 3rd Alwaatn Sound

Ninjago won gamely in this company at Thirsk and should remain competitive off 3lb higher, while Hard Solution must enter calculations following his neck second in maiden handicap company at Redcar. Preference, however, is for Marjorie Fife's veteran performer B FIFTY TWO. He has been threatening to win recently, posting three solid efforts in defeat already this month, and remains very well handicapped on his best form.
Prediction : 1st B Fifty Two 2nd Ninjago 3rd Hard Solution

Saeed bin Suroor rarely sends runners to Hamilton so it may be worth siding with SENDEED. The Newmarket handler landed this contest 12 months ago and his well-bred son of Shamardal, out of a dual Oaks winner in Petrushka, took a big step forward when third at Haydock on his second start. The step up in distance is unlikely to pose any problems and he could prove to be a cut above these rivals. Spirit Of Lund has placed on his last couple of outings and merits respect along with Philip's Wish, who outran 50-1 odds when third at Thirsk last time.
Prediction : 1st Sendeed 2nd Spirit Of Lund 3rd Philips Wish

LADIES FIRST has performed well enough on both her starts at York this campaign and the daughter of Monsieur Bond makes plenty of appeal on this occasion. The booking of David Allan is a notable one, the trainer/jockey combination boasting a 56 percent strike-rate in the last five years on turf (5-9), and she is capable of returning to the winner's enclosure sooner rather than later. Queen Penn has been knocking on the door on her last few starts and is likely to be in contention once again, while the drop in trip might suit Never Be Enough.
Prediction : 1st Ladies First 2nd Queen Penn 3rd Never Be Enough

Dapper Man benefitted from more aggressive riding tactics when scoring at Pontefract 34 days ago and a similar sort of effort would see him be competitive off just 3lb higher, while Spirit Of Wedza won over C&D last month and should go well again. Zig Zag Zyggy and Move In Time both like it here, but ONLY SPOOFING caught the eye at Pontefract 17 days ago and is 2-2 at this track. The five-year-old is 5lb below his last winning mark and will appreciate this drying surface.
Prediction : 1st Only Spoofing 2nd Dapper Man 3rd Zig Zag Zyggy

Mr Wagyu wasn't disgraced when supported in the betting here eight days ago and wears first-time blinkers for John Quinn off an unchanged mark, while Epeius, who was second in that same contest, is another to note. Mujassam is up in grade chasing a hat-trick, but slight preference is for Bath scorer ROYS DREAM. The five-year-old will enjoy this drying ground and a 5lb rise doesn't look too harsh.
Prediction : 1st Roys Dream 2nd Mujassam 3rd Mr Wagyu
