West Newton is expected to put up most resistance, boasting a similar sort of profile to the selection, while Isolate could go well on his handicap bow.

Makzeem caught the eye when fifth on his seasonal reappearance at Goodwood last month and could do better dropped 2lb and reunited with Ryan Moore, while Reputation shaped with promise at this venue three weeks ago and won't mind this step up to 7f. George William needs a market check on stable debut for Ed Walker following a 432-day absence, but this can go the way of Saeed bin Suroor and LAND OF LEGENDS. The all-weather winner was only beaten three quarters of a length by St James's Palace runner-up King Of Comedy on debut at Yarmouth in April and a mark of 91 on handicap debut is too tempting to ignore.

OUZO has moved nicely through the handicap ranks this season, building on a second at Haydock with two subsequent victories at Nottingham and Sandown, and Richard Hannon's colt might not be done with his improvement. Balgair made a winning start to 2019 at Yarmouth and could have more to offer, while Medieval appears best of the remainder on his placed efforts last month.

Hawaam went close to getting his head back in front when a neck second at Nottingham 10 days ago and he is likely to be in the mix along with Burford Brown, who is respected on his Ascot success two starts ago, and Nibras Again.
