Atyaaf put in his best turf performance for quite some time when fourth in a big field at Redcar five days ago and it is no surprise to see him turned out again quickly in that respect, while Johnny Cavagin drops in class after an eye-catching eighth in a better event at York earlier this month. Marginal preference, though, is for FOXTROT KNIGHT, who was only beaten three lengths by East Street Revue at Beverley last month. The seven-year-old ran a fine race there and could strike now 6lb below his last winning mark.

Alabaster has finished in the first three on his last five all-weather starts and although he has a bit to prove back on turf, he will appreciate this drop in trip for Sir Mark Prescott. Tawseef isn't getting any younger but ran a big race when third at Carlisle earlier this month behind two better-handicapped animals, although this can go to recent Yarmouth hero IMPERIAL COURT. Only up 2lb for that success, the four-year-old is unexposed over this trip and should have come on physically for that first outing since November.
