Divine Covey should qualify for a handicap mark after this effort, though any money for the King Power-owned newcomer, Sushi Power, would be worth noting.

The form of DANCINGINTHEWOODS' Woodcote fourth behind Pinatubo received a nice boost when the winner landed the Chesham at Royal Ascot. Dean Ivory's charge had previously needed every yard of the trip when making a winning debut over 6f at Newmarket so he, too, is expected to improve for the step up to 7f. Godolphin's Imperial Empire and Mark Johnston representative Thunderous are two newcomers to monitor closely in the betting.

Fox Leicester scored with plenty of authority from the front over this trip at Sandown last time but a repeat performance might not prove as easy on this flatter track. Preference is for GLOBAL GIFT, who has won in the mud at Carlisle and Haydock recently and could defy a 4lb rise for the latest of those victories to notch a hat-trick. Ginger Fox lost little in defeat when second off this mark over track and trip last time and has place prospects once again.

THE VERY MOON was sent off a 14-1 chance over this trip on debut at Salisbury last month and outran her odds to finish second. Her stable's newcomers often improve for an outing, so better is expected second time up. Merry Vale could build on a likeable introduction at Goodwood and give the selection most to think about, though any money for newcomers Vibrance and We've Got The Love would be notable.

CALCULATION was unable to justify favouritism on handicap debut at Lingfield, having contested some strong maidens in three starts prior, but the combination of a more galloping track, a first-time visor and a step up in trip can see this regally-bred gelding off the mark. Rochester House has been mostly consistent throughout this season and is worth another chance at this distance, while Skymax ran well enough over C&D at the start of the month and has to enter the reckoning having been dropped 2lb.

LINCOLN RED arrives in excellent form on the back of two successes at Yarmouth where he defied a 5lb rise on different ground on the latter occasion. The son of Monsieur Bond appears to have further scope for improvement and he can get the better of Tizwotitiz, who has been running consistently well on his last couple of outings, and Senorita Grande, who appeals on handicap debut.
