SCOFFSMAN showed that he has improved from three to four years when successful on his seasonal/handicap debut at Yarmouth last month and, with a 5lb rise fair punishment, he gets the vote to follow up. Angel's Whisper has finished third on her last couple of starts and is likely to give another good account, while Molly Mai, Beguiling Charm and Trulee Scrumptious complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Scoffsman 2nd Angels Whisper 3rd Molly Mai

Those with racecourse experience don't set the bar very high so it's probably best to concentrate on the newcomers. Oribi, Game And Set, Rachel Wall and Perfect Inch are all respected but AIRBRUSH gets the nod. This 145,000-euro purchase is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, being a half-sister to six winners including dual Listed scorer Mister Manannan, and Richard Hannon is likely to have her fairly wound up for her debut.
Prediction : 1st Airbrush 2nd Oribi 3rd Game And Set

Broughtons Flare has to be respected following his four-length victory on the Rowley Mile but it's difficult to get away from NAHAARR. Unbeaten in two starts over 6f, William Haggas' charge had subsequent Britannia Stakes winner Biometric amongst his victims when scoring at Lingfield last time and he looks potentially thrown in off this opening mark of 75 (Biometric now 101). Goodwood second Hawridge Storm is unlikely to be far away either.
Prediction : 1st Nahaarr 2nd Broughtons Flare 3rd Hawridge Storm

MONSIEUR LAMBRAYS was touched off by a neck over the extended 1m3f at Windsor last time and is expected to gain compensation for that near miss now stepping up in trip. Aktau is feared most as he's improved with each outing in maiden/novice company and steps up beyond 1m2f for the first time on his handicap bow. Green Etoile followed up his 1m4f victory off 4lb lower at Salisbury with a hurdles win at Hexham recently and could also be thereabouts now back on the level.
Prediction : 1st Monsieur Lambrays 2nd Aktau 3rd Green Etoile

NIGHT SECRET opened her account at the fourth time of asking when landing a classified stakes contest at Windsor earlier in the month, and is expected to remain competitive now raised 3lb ahead of her handicap debut. Be Like Me was denied by a neck at Chester last time and could appreciate this stiffer test as she bids to gain compensation off this 2lb higher mark, while the drop down from Listed level could feasibly spark improvement from Treasure Me.
Prediction : 1st Night Secret 2nd Treasure Me 3rd Be Like Me

INHALE shaped with promise when third on debut at Lingfield last November before following that effort up with an easy win at Kempton just a few weeks later. Out of a dual Listed winner, Amanda Perrett's filly has a penalty and a 217-day absence to defy, but has been located a nice opening and enlists the help of Australian rider Kerrin McEvoy. Fabulist has been beaten twice at relatively short odds and has a few questions to answer, while Visionara entered a few notebooks when fifth on debut three weeks ago and should appreciate this additional yardage.
Prediction : 1st Inhale 2nd Visionara 3rd Fabulist

LEROY LEROY ran on bravely to finish second in the Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar last month despite being the only three-year-old in the field, and Richard Hannon's charge surely has more to offer trying this 10-furlong trip for just the second time. Deja looked mightily progressive last season when recording victories at both Chester and Pontefract but wouldn't want the ground to dry out too much, while the likes of Setting Sail and Rise Hall are others to bear in mind.
Prediction : 1st Leroy Leroy 2nd Deja 3rd Setting Sail
