A close second before that in the Greenlands Stakes over track and trip, Joseph O'Brien's sprinter beat the admirable veteran Gordon Lord Byron in Group 3 company here last August and should take some stopping. Beckford is another boasting a good C&D record and he joins Chessman and Flash Gordon on the shortlist.

FLIGHT RISK arrives in fantastic form having won his last two starts at Leopardstown, including a Group 3 over 7f, and the return to a mile will play more to his strengths. Old Glory struggled to land a blow when only beating one rival home in the Hampton Court at Royal Ascot, but he appears likely to be suited by the drop in trip on faster ground. Pincheck's last couple of runs in Ireland would put him right in contention, while the best is yet to come from Zuenoon.

As long as the ground does not dry out too much, the one to beat is clearly ADDEYBB based on his impressive victory in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot. That was only a Listed race but it was a very strong contest, highlighted by the fact that the next three home were rated 108, 111 and 113. Buckhurst could prove to be the main threat following his narrow defeat in the Gallinule, while Blenheim Palace and Zihba are the pick of the remainder.

Marshall Jennings has been a brilliant horse to follow over the years and represents a team in fine form currently, while King's Field didn't seem to enjoy his experience at Royal Ascot in the Hunt Cup but returns to calmer shores now for Joseph O'Brien. It is hard, though, to look past the claims of JASSAAR, who could be a Group horse in a handicap. The four-year-old handles any ground and is taken to round off the hat-trick.

SISKIN appeared to have plenty in hand when winning the Marble Hill over C&D last month and that form suggests the son of First Defence should take plenty of beating. That said, Fort Myers was less than two lengths behind Arizona in the Coventry and he should give the selection plenty to think about if reproducing that form. Monarch Of Egypt has not been seen since his impressive debut victory at Naas but should not be underestimated.

Anthony Van Dyck showed a high level of form as a juvenile, placing in Group 1 events behind the likes of Quorto and Too Darn Hot, and built on his return success in Lingfield's Derby Trial when landing the Epsom showpiece. Several of his victims in that Classic return to take him on again and MADHMOON, who finished second, has every chance to reverse the form. Kevin Prendergast's colt was lit up when stumbling at Tattenham Corner and dispelled any stamina concerns by running all the way to the line. The return to a more conventional track will aid his turn of foot, along with drying ground. Broome, third at Epsom, is likely to be in contention once again, while Rakan is in the right hands to take another step forward after his Listed success at Leopardstown earlier in the month.

JAKE PETER has been a revelation in the last 11 months and the five-year-old is fancied to claim a second successive win despite a 10lb rise. That hike is probably fair given the dominance of his latest success at Fairyhouse, and he should thrive over this longer trip. Legal Spin is lightly raced and has Ryan Moore on board, while Tirmizi and Shakespear'sgalley are progressive stayers who should also hit the frame.
