Banmi has been largely ignored in the betting market on her two outings so far, but could offer plenty of value here following her Chelmsford third last time.

LA MAQUINA has a useful record at this venue and the course winner looks to successfully switch back the synthetics having scored at Goodwood last time. He is well worth trying for a second time over a mile and could be fighting out the finish with James Eustace's Directory, who was only denied by a short head over track and trip last time and competes off the same mark. Tamerlane has run well off his current rating the last twice and has won here in the past, while the lightly-raced Characteristic was only beaten a neck over seven furlongs here last time and is of real interest up in trip on his handicap debut.

EVOLUTIONARY ran better than the bare result suggested on her handicap debut and reappearance, only fading out of proceedings in the final furlong. The drop back to six furlongs could be just what the doctor ordered, having been generously relieved of 3lb by the assessor and Jamie Spencer in the saddle catches the eye. Stallone has been in good form of late and has to be respected, while Journey Of Life warrants a market check returning to the handicap ranks.
