LUFRICIA struggled to make an impact on soft ground at Goodwood when last sighted and could feasibly take a sudden step forward back on a quicker surface. There may be better to come from Raheeb, even though she ran well below her best on her seasonal return in a Listed contest at Chelmsford, while the consistent Enchanted Linda should give her running and is one to consider for the bronze medal.
Prediction : 1st Lufricia 2nd Raheeb 3rd Enchanted Linda

BAADIRR failed to justify favourtism on soft ground at Newbury last time but the performance represented a step up on his debut showing at the same venue in May and, now expected to encounter faster ground, William Haggas' 180,000gns recruit could feasibly open his account at the third time of asking. There was promise to take from the debut performances of both Royal Commando and Imperial Gloriana, while Richard Hannon's newcomer Written Broadcast, who changed hands for 150,000 euros as a yearling, cannot be discounted either.
Prediction : 1st Baadirr 2nd Royal Commando 3rd Imperial Gloriana

There was plenty to like about the winning debut performance of LADY LAWYER at Kempton in October and any money for John Gosden's charge on her seasonal return could be worth heeding. Bint Soghaan took a step in the right direction when runner-up over 1m on her seasonal return at Chepstow two weeks ago and is the one expected to put up most resistance, though Lyzbeth is entitled to come on for her debut spin at Ascot last year and market support for Archie Watson's newcomer, Rapture, would also be significant.
Prediction : 1st Lady Lawyer 2nd Bint Soghaan 3rd Lyzbeth

JALAAD returns to the scene of his impressive seasonal reappearance success and although the four-year-old was a shade disappointing on the Polytrack at Chelmsford last time, he could be worth another chance now equipped with a hood on his turf return. Whinmoor certainly wasn't disgraced in a C&D handicap latest and rates the biggest threat, with three-time all-weather scorer Insurgence taken to beat the upped-in-class Key Player to third spot.
Prediction : 1st Jalaad 2nd Whinmoor 3rd Insurgence

TAMREER arrives on the back of a career-best performance in Listed company at Pontefract and is fancied to land the spoils on her handicap return. Recent efforts show that she is versatile in regards trip and ground, and the booking of rising-star David Egan is a big positive. Arctic Ocean looks to be the main danger following her comfortable Beverley success, while Dorah is much better than she showed in bottomless ground at Haydock. Eesha My Flower completes the line-up.
Prediction : 1st Tamreer 2nd Arctic Ocean 3rd Dorah

December Second has won an Ayr bumper and performed well on his Flat bow when finishing second at Goodwood last month. However, conceding 17lb to the John Gosden-trained PROMISSORY will be no easy task. The daughter of Dubawi finished an encouraging third behind a more fancied stable companion, who has since finished third in a competitive Listed contest at Newbury, on debut at Goodwood in May and the second won next time out at Ripon. Of the others, a better performance from Albanderi is anticipated second time up.
Prediction : 1st Promissory 2nd December Second 3rd Albanderi

GAS MONKEY arrives in the form of his life, clearly improving for the fitting of a hood in starts at Yarmouth and Newbury. Well placed by trainer Julia Feilden, the son of Cityscape won an apprentice handicap by eight lengths last time and can round off the hat-trick off an unchanged mark of 68. Movie Star and Doctor Jazz are expected to put up most resistance.
Prediction : 1st Gas Monkey 2nd Movie Star 3rd Doctor Jazz
