PARODY hit the crossbar on her hurdles debut over C&D last month and, with the benefit of that experience now under her belt, she can be expected to go one better. Ballyjim made the frame here 10 days ago and should be thereabouts once again, while Minella Rising is an unlikely winner but he is still the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Parody 2nd Ballyjim 3rd Minella Rising

THE JAM MAN arrives here on the back of two impressive victories over fences at Southwell and Cartmel in recent weeks. Rated just 1lb above the last of those wins, he could be very hard to beat despite switching to hurdles. The Drone also arrives here seeking a hat-trick and could be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Sporting Boy.
Prediction : 1st The Jam Man 2nd The Drone 3rd Sporting Boy

COURT DUTY was an impressive winner of a similar event at Uttoxeter last month and a 6lb rise in the ratings for that success may not be enough to stop him from taking this contest as well. Kilcara is another whose most recent form offers plenty of encouragement, while Risk And Roll and Templepark complete the shortlist for a wide-open contest.
Prediction : 1st Court Duty 2nd Kilcara 3rd Risk And Roll

PETRIFY won this last year and arrives in good shape following a near miss at Wincanton last time, beaten a neck off this mark. Angel Of The North is interesting up in distance following some respectable recent outings and would arguably have scored at Fakenham two starts ago if not for slipping up late on. Multiple point winner Ardview Boy and David Pipe's Hot Ryan are others to note, with the latter an encouraging third following wind surgery last time.
Prediction : 1st Petrify 2nd Angel Of The North 3rd Hot Ryan

MUSICAL STARDUST has returned in fine form this summer, building on her Huntingdon second to score fairly comfortably at Fontwell last time. Alex Hales' six-year-old was handed a fair 4lb rise for that and is entitled to plenty of consideration once again with Jonjo O'Neill Jr taking over in the saddle. Definite Winner was on the scoresheet at Ffos Las in May and is respected for Katy Price, while Chilli Romance should run her usual honest race.
Prediction : 1st Musical Stardust 2nd Definite Winner 3rd Chilli Romance

River Of Intrigue has enjoyed a solid 2019 but looked flattered to finish as close as he did when second to a progressive winner at Ffos Las 52 days ago, while Little Windmill has finished either second or pulled-up in each of his last nine starts and needs to find more consistency. The most solid option in the field might be LORD IN RED, who was second over hurdles at Warwick last time but previously a winner over fences at Huntingdon. A 6lb rise is fair and he looks the one to be on.
Prediction : 1st Lord In Red 2nd River Of Intrigue 3rd Little Windmill

BELFAST BANTER was far from disgraced on his stable/Rules debut when third at Market Rasen two weeks ago and could give that form a timely boost. That didn't look a bad contest for the time of year and this 30,000-pounds purchase can take this before making his mark over obstacles. Irish point-to-point second Noel's Boy needs a market check on his debut for David Pipe, while Echo Du Large ran well for a long way when fourth at Exeter in this sphere during the spring.
Prediction : 1st Belfast Banter 2nd Noels Boy 3rd Echo Du Large
