Oriental Lilly is only 1lb higher than her last winning mark and looks the pick of Jim Goldie's duo, while Venturous has struggled the last twice but would have every chance if recapturing the form that saw him grab back-to-back successes in the spring.

Tadaawol ran well enough when third at Carlisle on Saturday to merit consideration.

Machiavelli had been showing some solid placed form before coming unstuck behind Sbraase last time and an 8lb swing in the weights may not be enough to reverse the form. LEVER DU SOLEIL could be the pick of the trio, though, as he won comfortably over 2m at Musselburgh last time and can put that stamina to good use.

Shamalov was not beaten far at Ballinrobe last time but that came in claiming company and he may not be that well treated in handicaps, while Royal Duchess has run her last six races over course and distance, but her rating has been tumbling as a result. It might be worth taking a chance on CAMBELEZA, who ran a respectable race on his reappearance at Leicester and could build on that effort.
