VALGOR DU RONCERAY returned to form when second at Hexham just over two weeks ago, and the first-time visor that worked so well there remains fitted for this assignment. The 10-year-old is yet to strike on British shores, but looks to be on a fair mark and doesn't have many miles on the clock for his age. Ourmullion didn't seem to enjoy his experience on the Flat last time but previously looked to be improving over the sticks, while Infiniti and Naasik can also make their presences felt.

PACIFY made his stable bow a winning one for Jamie Snowden at Southwell two weeks ago and a repeat could be on the cards for this formerly talented Flat contender. A smart type at up to 1m6f, this seven-year-old will need to take a step forward but looks perfectly capable of doing so. Nimby claimed his first hurdles success at Huntingdon in the spring and seems to appreciate a sound surface, while Thaqaffa could prove best of the remainder.

JOLY MAKER remains capable of better on just his third start for Jonjo O'Neill and looked to appreciate a step back up to this trip when third at Market Rasen last month. The five-year-old could be fairly treated off 94, and the potential is there for him to rate a good bit higher. Kilmoganny ran a big race to finish second last time despite being 10lb 'wrong' at the weights, while Irish point winner Rudy Catrail completes the list of likely win candidates.

FAGO comes with plenty of risks attached but he arrives off the back of his best effort for some time under Rules, when third in a stronger race at Aintree last month and, if able to replicate that performance, could show his rivals a clean pair of heels. Lycidas may well have needed his first start for almost a year at Kelso in May, while any market support for Spring Steel is to be noted on his first outing for 717 days.

MOANS CROSS produced his best performance so far over timber when runner-up at Fontwell and he appeals as having further improvement to come for the step up in distance. Bantiss Jack threw away victory at Fakenham, when idling badly in the closing stages, but he can put himself in the mix along with Diamond Reggie, whose fourth at Ffos Las over 2m4f gives him every chance with the manner he saw his race out.

MRS MIGGINS thrived on her first outing since wind surgery with a comfortable course success, and David Pipe's six-year-old has the chance to add further glory stepping up in trip off a 7lb higher mark. Cheekpieces are added to the hood aboard Cartmel second Farmer Boy, who has to be respected, while Ffos Las runner-up Polished Rock and the consistent Get An Oscar both make some appeal.

ORGANDI beat a useful cast of novices at Taunton when last seen in February and could take all the beating on her handicap debut if in the same form. Donald McCain's Takingitallin has enjoyed the switch to hurdles this summer and got off the mark at Newton Abbot last month, while Slaine impressed with a five-length victory in a Fontwell maiden hurdle last time and is respected switching back to handicapping.
