This looks to be a two-horse race between BE PREPARED and Grove Ferry, with the former narrowly preferred for Simon Crisford. Third behind the talented Oh Purple Reign on debut at Nottingham before cosily shedding his maiden tag at the same venue a few weeks later, he should be suited by this step up in trip and seemingly handles varying ground conditions. Grove Ferry is out of a Group 1-winning dam and could continue to improve, while Austin Taetious and Sir Arthur Dayne can fight it out for third.

Mujassam has been kept busy in recent weeks with form figures of 1133 from his last four outings, while course winner Seprani returned to form when beaten a nose at Brighton three weeks ago for Amy Murphy and has to be taken seriously. Slight preference is for DREAM CATCHING, who was tight for room when third at Brighton last month. The step back up in trip promises to suit and the suspicion is that he can win races off this mark.

Arms Of The Angel picked up some minor money off this mark at Beverley last week and is interesting with Franny Norton taking over from an apprentice in the saddle, while Ignatius wasn't disgraced when fourth over C&D last week and could also take a hand.

HIGHLAND ACCLAIM bids to land a hat-trick of victories in a race named in his honour and could feasibly step up on his C&D fourth in a higher grade last time and find the improvement needed to score. He's rated only 2lb higher than when scoring on the all-weather in February so is competitively weighted. Ashpan Sam is closely matched with the selection on their clash here last week and has place claims along with recent Brighton second Diamond Lady.

TEODORA DE VEGA ran well to finish second on her handicap debut at Nottingham and Ralph Beckett's filly is capable of going one better to get off the mark at the fifth attempt. Toro Dorado returned to form when second at Newcastle a fortnight ago and has the assistance of Oisin Murphy in the saddle, while Slade King can improve from his return effort at Goodwood in May.
