The daughter of Galileo improved on her debut effort to be narrowly beaten by an exciting prospect at the Curragh two weeks ago and that form suggests that she will be hard to beat. Petite Mustique finished a couple of lengths behind the selection on her debut and she could prove to be the main threat to her stablemate, while Alpine Star and Azila are both interesting newcomers.

GIGA WHITE failed to reward favourite backers at the Curragh last time out but the son of Dark Angel can be given another chance today based on his previous narrow defeat at Naas. Balefire has been running consistently well of late and is an obvious threat to the selection. Cosmic Horizon edges out Colfer Me to be the pick of the remainder.

INSIGNIA OF RANK landed a Curragh Listed contest over a mile when last sighted and, having also scored over this trip earlier in the season, the four-year-old could prove a tough nut to crack. Magnetic North was also on the scoresheet last time, winning at Navan, and is respected following a 4lb rise. Aidan O'Brien took this event last season and relies on Antilles tonight, while the handy dual purpose performer Tudor City can't be ruled out either.

Cimeara stayed on strongly to land this 12 months ago and, having already secured Listed glory this season on her first outing for new handler Joseph O'Brien, the Vocalised filly appears set for a bold bid to defend her crown. However, it is the young handler's all-conquering father who appears to have the strongest hand, with the Ballydoyle maestro saddling four runners. The pick of which may well be SOUTH SEA PEARL, who relished the step up to an extended 1m4f when getting off the mark with an impressive nine-length success in a Bellewstown maiden last time and the lightly-raced daughter of Galileo is well worth trying over even further. Stablemate Simply Beautiful also broke her duck on her most recent start, while Peach Tree is another Coolmore candidate to consider having not been disgraced when sighted at Group level this term. Willie Mullins' True Self got stuck in the mud when second at Haydock last month, but got the better of Jaega in a Listed contest before that and is likely to be thereabouts.

TROSSACHS won the Apprentice Derby at the Curragh last month to claim a second successive victory and could quite feasibly defy a 9lb rise for Jim Bolger. Bred to be better than his revised mark of 86, the three-year-old shouldn't be deterred by this slight step up in trip and looks open to further improvement. Kangaroo Valley got off the mark in maiden company at Tipperary 18 days ago and is respected, while Moktamel and Park Row are also noted.

CHOSEN MATE finished fifth in the Grade 1 Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree when last seen in April and shouldn't be deterred by this drop in distance now tackling the Flat under Jamie Codd. The six-year-old brings a touch of class to this field, and could prove too strong for Last Goodbye, who himself is no slouch in the National Hunt code. Freetown showed potential for Aidan O'Brien and is worth noting up in trip on stable debut for Luke Comer.
