The son of New Approach will need to take a step forward to reverse the form with Mirage Dancer (third), who is reunited with Ryan Moore for the first time this season, but it would be no surprise if COMMUNIQUE, who finished last in the aforementioned contest, returned to his best. His trainer Mark Johnston has done particularly well at this meeting over the years and a return to front-running tactics, which saw him to great effect at the Guineas meeting at this level, along with the booking of Silvestre De Sousa could see him back to form despite him giving weight to all of his rivals.

Daily Times is the pick of those with previous experience based on her neck defeat at York last time out, although she could be vulnerable to a classier type. Godolphin have owned the winner of this race (or a division of it) five times since 2011 and DUBAI PARADISE could add to that record today. The daughter of Exceed And Excel is out of a mare who won twice as a two-year-old and she is from the family of some top-class performers in Australia. Led Astray is another interesting newcomer being a half-sister to a pair of Group-winning juveniles at this track in Hatta Fort and Blue Bayou. URBAN ICON (fourth) just finished in front of Duke Of Hazzard (fifth) and Momkin (sixth) in the Jersey at Royal Ascot and Richard Hannon's colt rates the one to beat this afternoon. The son of Cityscape was only beaten a head by the subsequent Group 1-placed Space Blues at Epsom on his previous start and a reproduction of either of those efforts should be good enough to win this race. Momkin did find trouble in running at Ascot and could get closer to the selection this afternoon. Turgenev has to be respected based on his effort in the Britannia and he is the pick of the remainder.

Moqtarreb was an impressive winner of a novice race over C&D last time out but he had previously been beaten off a mark of 85 at Doncaster, which has to be a concern today. With that in mind, the preference is for WINGS OF TIME, who was not beaten far under a penalty here last month and that form suggests that an opening mark of 90 should be workable. Global Gift has been in outstanding form of late and is an obvious threat, while Martineo merits each-way consideration.
