Anythingtoday struck on the all-weather last month but returns to turf now upped in distance, while Speed Company is often thereabouts at this level and should give the form a solid outlook.

However, marginal preference is for SHADES OF BLUE, who led on the post when landing a Listed contest in France last time and promises to be suited by this extra furlong. Royal Intervention is respected now eased in grade, while Island Of Life and Foxtrot Lady could also go well if this is a strongly-run race.

MUSIC SEEKER has formed a great relationship with apprentice Cian MacRedmond of late, winning two of their last three outings, and could follow up their track and trip success from last month off a 5lb higher mark. Ironclad got off the mark last time and is interesting entering the handicap ranks, while the hat-trick seeking Mr Coco Bean can't be ignored. Thomas Cranmer was only beaten a nose in this last year and could be a live outsider.

Dylan De Vega came up short in the Windsor Castle, and Shammah also drops from Listed company following a defeat, but they will do well to successfully concede weight to IVA GO. Tim Easterby's youngster has already found a solid level of consistency and can make a successful nursery debut off a handy mark. Mrs Bouquet scored over 6f at Catterick on Wednesday and is clearly in good heart, while it is too soon to write Manolith off on the back of his Leicester failure.

In a competitive contest the preference is for LATHOM, who has bounced back to form this year and that includes his decisive victory at Ayr three weeks ago. Jabbarockie chased home the selection last time out and could do so once again today. Others to consider are Acclaim The Nation, Daschas and Excessable.

IRREVERENT (first), Fastman (second), Celebrity Dancer (third) and Daafr (sixth) all come from the same Ayr event and the former is fancied to confirm that running. Richard Fahey's charge is thriving over this trip and may have more to offer despite an 8lb rise. Celebrity Dancer was a bit unlucky and could get closer here while, of the rest, Dutch Pursuit makes most appeal for last year's winning yard on his turf debut.
