Burnt Sugar's campaign is likely to have been geared around this again, and Roger Fell has a very good second string in Admirality. Ambassadorial made the best possible start to life with Jane Chapple-Hyam by winning at Chelmsford but although he is well treated on grass, he is yet to prove his mettle on the surface.

Aim Power drops back in trip having run well for a long way in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot, with Model Guest, fifth in that aforementioned event, now tried in blinkers having somewhat disappointed in maiden company last time. Therefore it may be wise to side with CHALEUR, a winner on the Rowley Mile over this trip to finish her two-year-old campaign and having placed in a Group 2 at this meeting last summer, could have the class to carry top-weight to victory on her first outing of 2019.

Dream Of Dreams got closest to Blue Point in the Diamond Jubilee and must be seen as a leading contender, while Cape Byron is two from two in 2019 and is well worth a go at this level following his comfortable Wokingham Stakes triumph. 2016 winner Limato warmed up for this with a win in the Group 3 Criterion Stakes and will have plenty of supporters, with track-and-trip winner Pretty Pollyanna another to consider.
