A reproduction of either of those efforts should be good enough to win this contest. Mjolnir is an interesting newcomer being the first foal out of a Listed-winning mare, while Caspian Queen is entitled to improve for her debut effort on the all-weather.

JUMIRA BRIDGE appeared to improve for a wind operation when winning at Sandown 10 days ago and he makes plenty of appeal again off just a 4lb higher mark. Just Glamorous failed to fire in Ireland but his previous form in this country offers plenty of encouragement. Swiss Knight was well held by the selection last time out but he remains unexposed over sprint trips and it is too soon to be writing him off.

SENDEED has improved with every start to date and he arrives on the back of an easy win in a maiden at Hamilton. If the son of Shamardal can take another step forward, he could make an opening mark of 80 appear very lenient. Mannaal was out of her depth in a Listed race but she was previously only narrowly denied in a handicap off this mark over C&D. Dilmun Dynasty and Fraser Island have claims, but the latter is the pick of that pair.

In an open race, marginal preference is for HATS OFF TO LARRY, who was only beaten two lengths in a much stronger event than this at Sandown last month. He was 2lb out of the handicap on that occasion and can race off his correct mark here. Mandarin has been knocking on the door of late and has to be considered once more. Others to note are Isomer, Michele Strogoff and Geetanjali.
