The daughter of Kingman is entitled to improve for that experience and she should be hard to beat this evening. That said, a chance can be taken with NATIONAL TREASURE, who cost 500,000gns as a yearling and she is out of a half-sister to the Breeders' Cup winner Wrote. Charlie Appleby has an outstanding record with his juveniles and he had a similar type win on debut over C&D on Saturday. Alpen Rose is the second choice of the Appleby pair, based on jockey bookings, but the 750,000-euro purchase should not be underestimated. Sea Of Marmoon is closely related to the Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso and she is another interesting newcomer with the booking of Ryan Moore catching the eye.

Ardiente made a winning debut over 7f on the Polytrack at Kempton last November and warrants plenty of respect on her seasonal reappearance, but race-fitness could give WHISPERING BEAUTY the edge. William Haggas' filly was a big eye-catcher when runner-up on her racecourse introduction over C&D last month, losing some six lengths at the start before staying on powerfully at the finish, and normal improvement will make her tough to beat. The newcomers, Lenya, Loving Glance and Happy Face are all of some interest.

Recent victories at Epsom and Beverley show ORNATE to be arriving in top form and, with a C&D success under his belt to boot, he is very much the one to beat. The 105-rated Judicial is best treated at these weights and it will be interesting to see how he fares, dropping out of Group company and having had wind surgery since he was last sighted. Three-year-old Junius Brutus showed that he has trained on when touched off at Windsor and makes slightly more appeal than Encore d'Or, who can be a bit hit or miss.

FURIOUS built on the promise displayed as a juvenile when scoring on her return at Wolverhampton early last month before following that performance up with a good second at Chelmsford behind a well-handicapped rival. The daughter of Oasis Dream is unlikely to be fazed by the return to turf and can improve again to score at the expense of Belated Breath, who can prove to be more competitive back in handicap company, and recent Newbury winner Shorter Skirt.

ANGEL'S WHISPER went up 11lb for a comprehensive victory here over a mile on her most recent start and the return to 7f, along with the booking of Silvestre De Sousa, could see her double up. Coverham finished third in the aforementioned contest but could get closer to the selection as she reopposes on better terms, while Fighting Temeraire's recent success at Lingfield can see him enter calculations.
