RAILPORT DOLLY lost little in defeat when second over this trip at Leicester two weeks ago and wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to defy a 2lb rise. Prevent has only been raised 2lb for scoring over this distance at Newbury earlier in the month and could be the one to put up most resistance, while a step up in trip could unlock improvement from 1m1f Goodwood scorer Gloweth, who cannot be left out of calculations either.

Matchmaking has a 343-day absence to overcome but is worth a market check for a stable among the winners of late. Recent Doncaster second Contrebasse and Takbeer, who returns from a spell hurdling, are others to bear in mind.
