Equilateral was not too far behind the selection at Ascot and should not be underestimated, as he will be suited by the fast early pace likely to be set. Caspian Prince and El Astronaute are both talented trailblazers but they could be vulnerable to younger legs.

MOVE SWIFTLY took a big step forward from her three-year-old campaign with success on her return in the Duke Of Cambridge. Despite having to give weight to all of her rivals, this appeals as a perfect opportunity for William Haggas's filly, with the step back up in trip potentially bringing out further progression. Red Tea was eighth behind the selection at Royal Ascot but can return to form on a sounder surface, while Normandel and Coral Beach complete the shortlist.

Baby Power struck here at the Guineas meeting and then put a Naas defeat behind her when numbering Shore Step, Little Clarinet, Sabrina Fairchild and Brave Display among her victims back at the same circuit. Little Clarinet has since gone close at Navan, while Noirvento was ahead of Baby Power when third at Naas last month. The vote goes to FACE OFF, though, because she needed every yard of the 5f to get up at Navan and will relish the extra yardage.
